Job summary

Summit Public Schools seeks a Dean of Operations to lead non-instructional site operations for middle and high schools, focusing on attendance, nutrition, recruitment, facilities, safety, scheduling, records, testing, and transportation. Reporting to Executive Directors, the Dean will manage an operations team and ensure compliance, safety drills, and smooth daily processes across both sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
• Operations and/or prior school experience is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with project and people management is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with data or analysis is preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Platforms (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
• Clear health and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage attendance systems and collaborate with Executive Directors to meet attendance goals.
• Oversee recruitment and enrollment processes and ensure full enrollment targets.
• Coordinate health and safety plans, drills, and incident reporting.
• Oversee technology inventory and liaise with facilities for maintenance.
• Supervise meals program and ensure National School Lunch compliance.
• Maintain student files, records requests, transcripts, and testing prep.
• Assist design of school master schedule and timetable maintenance.
• Coordinate daily transportation and field trip logistics.
• Serve on the school admin team and supervise support staff.
