Job summary

Opaa! Food Management seeks a Director of Nutrition Services to lead the school district’s child nutrition program, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while driving quality meals and customer service.

You will manage kitchen operations, supervise staff, maintain HACCP records, coordinate meal transport, and build strong district relationships to support student nutrition initiatives. Responsibilities include overseeing daily production, ensuring menu adherence, controlling costs

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; USDA Professional Standards compliance.
Minimum 3 years of relevant food service experience or 1 year with an associate’s degree.
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience; service orientation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production and menu adherence across kitchen locations.
Ensure accurate production records and compliance with meal patterns and POS data.
Monitor cost per meal, waste, labor, and supplies for each kitchen.
Lead staff through training, scheduling, HR policies, and performance management.
Foster strong client relationships and coordinate meals to satellite buildings as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and HACCP records; ensure safety and quality standards.
