Job description

We're now hiring an experienced leader to join our growing team as Head of School (Director) in the Ashburn, VA area!

Guidepost Montessori is a community of educators driven by a deep desire to bring about widespread change in education today. We believe that traditional methods are outdated and need to evolve. The Director Position

We seek a leader passionate about the Montessori method, capable of growing enrollment, attracting and retaining talented staff, building a strong parent community, and ensuring the highest standards of education in every classroom. As the Director (Head of School),you will provide leadership to the entire campus team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Developing a strategic plan for the campus
2. Creating a strong organizational culture aligned with our mission
3. Building a vibrant community among staff, parents, and children
4. Ensuring the delivery of an exceptional program
5. Managing campus budget to meet profitability targets
6. Collaborating with the Assistant Head of School to meet enrollment goals
7. Hiring, supporting, developing, and managing teaching staff

• Experience in people leadership and team development
