Job description

Join us in shaping the future of a fast-growing global SaaS company dedicated to driving the decarbonization of construction—an industry responsible for half of the world's carbon emissions. Take the lead in developing and expanding your territory while making a meaningful impact on sustainability.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to lead and further develop our North American market, building a position of market strength and engaging with all key customers and prospects across the territory.

You will become a key member of our global Business Development management team, reporting directly to the VP of Business Development. Collaborating closely with both our international business development teams and broader company departments, you will be part of a supportive, mission-driven, and high-performing team in a flexible and friendly work environment, with significant autonomy in your role.

In this position, you will work alongside senior and regional leadership to design and implement a sustainable growth strategy, aimed at positioning One Click LCA as a leading vendor in North America. Your focus will be on building strong, lasting customer relationships to drive business growth. Ultimately, you will play a pivotal role in achieving the region’s full revenue potential through strategic territory expansion.

One Click LCA's innovative carbon accounting and reduction SaaS platform is utilized in over 170 countries and is experiencing rapid growth. We primarily target the construction industry, where we proudly hold the global leadership position, as well as manufacturing verticals, which are collectively accountable for nearly half of global carbon emissions.

This full-time, permanent position is available on a remote basis for candidates based in the North American time zones.

What you will do:
  • Lead and grow a local team to maximise our potential in North America
  • Maximise company-wide growth by thoroughly exploring and evaluating all opportunities, ensuring time and effort are concentrated on the most valuable prospects
  • Provide clear visibility of pipeline, opportunities and all business development activities
  • Continually look for new opportunities to grow and expand One Click LCA’s market position in the region
  • Represent the company at local events and ensure we are known and active in the market
  • Work closely with Marketing and Business Development teams to ensure we maximise positive impact within the region
  • Stay on top of the latest trends and emergent issues in our industry (business model changes, new tools, products, and features)
  • Actively contribute to the Global Business Development team by sharing insights and helping to establish and refine global best practices.
What you need:
  • 5+ years experience in sales in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
  • Direct experience selling to the Engineering, Manufacturing, or construction sector
  • Experience leading and coaching teams for success
  • Experience in coaching teams to have sufficient pipeline coverage to achieve new ARR business targets- ideally from outbound
  • Quantifiable track record of success and growth
  • A strong drive to get things done and overcome challenges
  • Clear, direct, timely and relevant communication style
  • Good cooperation skills
  • Understanding of and passion for sustainability, ideally in the construction sector, but willingness and demonstrable ability to get up to speed with the sector is more important than prior experience
  • Fluency inEnglish, as it is our working language
