Job summary

Stripe is seeking a seasoned Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead a high‑performing team within the Risk Operations Technology Enablement group. You will partner with Risk Engineering and Product to shape the technical infrastructure and own critical tooling initiatives that scale risk operations while enhancing user experience.

You will mentor managers, align stakeholders, and drive the roadmap, ensuring execution of strategic programs with impact across the org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing program managers who lead complex, cross-functional technical programs.
• Experience partnering directly with product and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Sufficient technical proficiency to clarify architecture, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks.
• Excellent analytical skills; you digest complex information and make recommendations.
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills, building relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape and drive alignment on Risk Operations’ technical strategy and roadmap.
• Partner cross-functionally to set and execute against the technical roadmap.
• Coach a team of engineering program managers, setting vision and goals, and leading hiring when relevant.
• Occasionally drive the most critical technical programs with direct senior influence.
• Evolve the team structure and roles to meet Stripe’s evolving needs.
• Promote Stripe’s user-centric values and culture of transparency and inclusion.
