Job summary

PowerLines, a national nonprofit, seeks a Head of Regulatory to lead and advance its regulatory strategy before utility commissions nationwide. You will manage a growing team of regulatory experts, coordinate with the Policy and Communications teams, and build coalitions to influence rate cases, rulemakings, and policy outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in utility regulation or related public policy roles.
• Proven ability to develop and execute multi-state regulatory campaigns.
• Excellent writing and communications skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of PowerLines’ regulatory strategy.
• Oversee a growing Regulatory Team and external consultants.
• Engage with state utilities commissions, policy makers, and stakeholders.
• Build and manage coalitions with consumer advocates and other partners.
• Represent PowerLines in regulatory venues and with media.
