Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Regional Marketing Communication, Americas to lead our regional MarCom team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead a team of talented MarCom specialists, spearhead strategic projects, play a pivotal role in strengthening our market visibility, enhancing partner marketing, and fueling our sales strategy across the region. You'll be the bridge between our global vision and regional execution, ensuring alignment while maintaining a deep understanding of local market dynamics. Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.



  • Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Team: Develop, mentor, and inspire a team of regional marketing communication specialists, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Set clear team objectives, track progress, and celebrate successes.

  • Drive Strategic Regional Projects: Lead and execute key regional marketing projects that directly contribute to increased market visibility, enhanced brand awareness, and improved customer engagement.

  • Foster Collaboration and Best Practices: Promote collaboration across regional teams to maximize efficiency, share best practices, and ensure consistent messaging.

  • Manage the Regional Event Calendar: Oversee the planning and execution of regional events, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and global marketing campaigns. Collaborate effectively with Sales and Global MarCom functions.

  • Elevate Partner Marketing: Develop and implement impactful partner marketing initiatives to enhance market reach, drive business growth, and strengthen partner relationships.

  • Contribute to Global Marketing Initiatives: Actively participate in global marketing communication projects, providing regional insights and ensuring relevance to local markets.

  • Support Sales Strategy: Work closely with Heads of Sales in assigned regions to understand their needs and develop marketing programs that effectively support their sales objectives.

  • Optimize Marketing Performance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and maximize ROI.

  • Manage the Regional Marketing Budget: Develop and manage the regional marketing communication budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.




In this role, you can expect to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time. This role will also require being on site in the Loves Park facility at least 2-3 days per week.


Background & Skills

Requirements & Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years' experience with B2B marketing.

  • Solid experience in direct people management, with the ability to foster engagement, trust, and high performance.

  • Experience reporting to a global leader and working in a matrix organization

  • A strong business understanding of complex sales cycles and customer needs.

  • A strategic mindset with a passion for customer-focused marketing.

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.

Compensation:HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000 to $137,000 . Base salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
