Job Description

You will join a newly established team focused on Business Development (BD) for Food & Beverage (F&B) as part of the Product Line (PL) Performance Drives & Motion. This BD role aims to unlock the full growth and value potential of promising businesses in a dynamic and agile environment. Our Performance Drives products are renowned for their features, quality, and reliability, and we anticipate significant growth in the coming years.

The "Regional Vertical Lead F&B" will lead, drive, and enable regional and local sales strategies by sharing expertise with sales teams, partners, and customers about our F&B Drives solutions. Together, we will work towards customer loyalty and becoming the preferred Drives supplier for selected customers. The role involves setting the vision and strategy for F&B in collaboration with Sales and integrating regional insights into the PL leadership team and product development organizations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead business development efforts, expanding growth through channels including key customers (Partners, System Integrators, End Users, OEMs) within the F&B market in the NAM region.
  • Develop and deliver Drive solutions utilizing available sales, marketing, and service tools, including DrivePro, tailored to customer needs.
  • Support sales companies by aligning strategies and supporting execution.
  • Build detailed regional/country plans and lead their execution, including marketing goals.
  • Focus on establishing a critical mass for the F&B team in key countries.
  • Provide regional insights to the F&B BD team and product organizations, including identifying product gaps.
  • Act as the key contact on topics like pricing and portfolio management.
  • Support and drive sales of the existing portfolio to meet regional growth targets.
  • Identify key customers, focus areas, and priorities at both global and local levels.
  • Coordinate with GKAM on local activities.
  • Support critical customer engagements and business development initiatives.
  • Establish and develop an opportunity pipeline.
  • Assist in developing business cases for new product opportunities.
  • Support KPIs and full pricing authority to maximize profitable growth across channels.
  • Lead negotiations and build stakeholder trust to secure contracts and ramp-up.
Background & Skills

Employee Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$170,000 plus bonus and benefits, which include bonus systems, paid vacation, flexible hours, remote work options, personal insurance, communication packages, ERG participation, virtual work environment, and referral programs. Benefits may vary by country and are subject to change.
