Job summary

Nscale seeks a Head of Infrastructure Operations to lead the end-to-end management of data centre operations across a defined region. You will ensure operational excellence, safety, compliance, and reliability across all sites while driving continuous improvement and scaling operations to support rapid business growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data centre operations experience.
• Proven track record leading regional or multi-site operations.
• Experience scaling operations in complex, high-growth environments.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and performance management.
• Knowledge of GPU/HPC infrastructure and AI cloud considerations.
• Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar security/compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic vision and execution of data centre infrastructure operations across the region.
• Establish and maintain standards, processes, and procedures for safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Lead development of roadmaps for capacity planning and service delivery milestones.
• Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and lead high-performing teams across multiple sites.
• Define accountability structures, metrics, and career development paths.
• Foster ownership, safety, and excellence in decision-making.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, from inspections to ITSM ticket handling, ensuring SLAs.
• Collaborate with vendors and Colo partners to optimize facility performance.
• Maintain asset inventories and security protocols across sites.
• Establish and monitor SLIs/SLOs for availability and incident response.
• Lead incident root-cause analyses and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental standards, and audits.
• Support certifications (ISO 2701, ISO 22301, SOC 2) and audit readiness.
