Job summary

Truist seeks an experienced real estate technology leader to define the technology strategy for its real estate lending business, modernizing platforms, and delivering secure, scalable solutions across the lending lifecycle.

The role leads global teams across engineering, architecture, product, data, and operations, driving a product-centric operating model, cloud adoption, AI capabilities, and strong governance to improve underwriting, servicing, risk, and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, CS, business, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive technology operations experience.
• Broad leadership of complex technology operations teams.
• Experience managing multi-team operational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technology job area that may include several teams in engineering, infrastructure, architecture, security, operations, or analytics.
• Develop and implement short‑to mid‑term operational plans, aligning with enterprise strategies.
• Drive enhancements of processes, systems, and platforms to improve performance.
• Solve difficult, multi‑team problems with data-driven analysis and landscape interpretation.
• Communicate across the job area and with stakeholders, advocating modernization initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning, talent development, and performance management.
• Steward budget and operational costs for the job area.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, risk, and security policies.
