Job summary

Truist seeks a Technical Product Owner for End-to-End Lending Automation to drive strategy, roadmap, and delivery of intelligent lending capabilities across deal origination to portfolio management. You will partner with lending, credit, operations, risk, and technology teams to identify automation opportunities, streamline workflows, and accelerate lending decisions through AI-enabled solutions.

The role requires strong product management and Agile delivery experience, deep commercial lending

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Five or more years of banking, financial services, digital, or other relevant work experience
• Three or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience
• Three or more years of leading cross functional teams
• Experience defining and delivering digital business initiatives to execute on a product roadmap
• Demonstrated technical acumen and ability to work with tech org to align roadmaps
• Ability to translate strategic plans into tactical daily actions
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Comfortable managing concurrent projects in fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and data interpretation
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills
• Agile certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or SAFe Agilist
• Experience with commercial banking, CRE lending, and credit operations
• Expertise in loan origination, underwriting, risk monitoring, and portfolio management
• Workflow design capabilities
• Consulting or transformation experience with AI/GenAI implementations
• WLSE transformation objectives focus on digital workflows, AI-assisted decisioning
• Product Owner experience in Agile teams
• Experience working with distributed teams onshore/offshore

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery team priorities in PI planning, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
• Align with product managers to articulate product strategy to the delivery team
• Deliver new experiences by collaborating with delivery, design, business, and operations
• Own and maintain the team backlog of user stories and be SME on features
• Triage critical issues and communicate with stakeholders
• Coordinate business validation and fitness for use with tech teams
• Update leadership on epic/feature delivery schedules and dependencies
• Collaborate with architects to address program priorities while balancing client experience and technical integrity
• Facilitate sprint planning with stakeholders to align features with roadmap
• Lead sprint demos and ensure acceptance criteria are met
• Coordinate release documentation and go/no-go approvals
• Ensure PML process compliance with security, risk, audit requirements with PM support
