Job summary

DDN is seeking a Director, Global HR Business Partner — R&D to partner directly with the Chief Product Officer and lead people strategy for global R&D. You will own the people agenda, design organization structure, and shape talent and performance plans across regions.

This role requires balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-growing tech environment. You will coach executives, drive workforce planning, and build scalable People programs.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a senior HR Business Partner or People Partner supporting technical groups.
• Proven track record as a thought partner to senior executives and leadership teams.
• Deep strength in organization design, talent strategy, performance management, and ER.
• Experience owning performance and ER matters end-to-end without outsourcing.
• Experience in high-growth or 0→1 environments with evolving roles and processes.
• Ability to turn strategy into actionable plans and execute with rigor.
• Global experience driving agendas through regional teams while respecting local differences.

Responsibilities

• Own the people agenda for R&D globally and partner on organization design and workforce planning.
• Serve as a strategic member of the CPO’s leadership team with a global perspective.
• Navigate performance and employee relations end-to-end, partnering with Legal and regional teams.
• Shape the organization for future needs, including structure, spans, and capabilities.
• Coach executives and managers to raise performance and build high-performing teams.
• Contribute to the development of global People programs and playbooks.
• Translate strategy into execution by breaking down workstreams and driving completion.
• Partner with regional People leaders to harmonize global approaches.
