Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Quality Engineering to lead multiple quality teams and set the strategic direction for testing across our advertising platform. You will drive best-in-class practices, oversee automation initiatives, and partner with senior leaders to improve product quality at scale.

The role requires a proven track record in cloud-native environments, strong leadership, and deep expertise in modern test automation, CI/CD, and security/performance testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in software quality engineering or related field.
• Experience scaling QA in cloud-native, high-scale environments.
• Proven track record influencing executive-level quality strategy.
• Expertise in modern test automation frameworks and CI/CD.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple quality engineering teams and people leaders.
• Define the multi-year vision and strategic roadmap for quality engineering across the platform.
• Drive adoption of best-in-class practices, tools, and quality metrics at scale.
• Set technical direction for large-scale test automation architecture and cloud-native solutions.
• Guide shared automation frameworks, tools, and platforms across product and engineering teams.
• Oversee governance, traceability, and quality metrics across product lines.
