Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking a Director of Quality to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s quality assurance and quality control programs. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement across departments, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and customer requirements.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, QMS oversight, and collaboration with senior leadership to align quality objectives with business goals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years in quality assurance/quality control, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Certifications: CQE, CQM, or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement the quality vision, strategy, and goals.
• Oversee design and maintenance of a robust QMS and ensure ISO/ASME/FDA compliance.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma initiatives to improve processes and reduce defects.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance; manage audits.
• Establish systems to monitor customer feedback and resolve quality issues.
• Build and mentor the QA/QC teams and foster continuous improvement.
• Analyze quality metrics and present findings to senior leadership.
• Develop supplier quality standards and collaborate with suppliers.
