Condé Nast is seeking a seasoned technology leader to guide the Publishing Platform engineering team. You will shape architecture for CMS, rights, planning, and content APIs, while managing a global group of engineers across time zones.

You will drive AI-native editorial workflows, partner with product and design, and ensure platform health, performance, and reliability across multiple brands and sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and growing engineering teams building platforms.
• Experience owning content management or publishing systems.
• Led distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
• Hands-on depth to review designs and code with senior ICs.
• Strong architectural judgment in content systems and APIs.
• Ability to build trusted cross-functional partnerships.
• Experience driving AI-native workflows.
• Balance platform health with delivery speed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead global engineering teams across CMS, rights, planning, and content APIs.
• Define platform roadmap with product and manage technical debt.
• Partner on architecture decisions for content model and authoring toolchain.
• Build strong relationships with editorial, product and brand engineers.
• Ensure uptime, performance, and reliability of systems.
• Drive AI-native authoring and editorial workflows.
