Job description

adMarketplace is seeking a S/VP, HEAD OF PUBLISHER DEVELOPMENT executive to join our Senior Management Team. We recently on-boarded Ariff Quli as our new CRO and now we are looking to bring on our next high impact executive to build out our Publisher Development team and work across sales, product and marketing!

With world class advertisers such as Amazon, Facebook, Uber and many more, we are now focused on bringing in new supply to meet our growing demand. This person will not only be tasked with closing new publishers, but also managing and growing the Publisher Development team domestically and soon internationally.

WHAT YOU’D DO:
  1. Be a key stakeholder and leader at adMarketplace to ensure we are the premier partner for publishers.
  2. Build out, manage, and develop the Publisher team to ensure each individual's success including defining the team structure, key target list, and KPIs.
  3. Close new publishers (comScore top 150), manage new and existing client campaigns to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations.
  4. Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign, creative, and product ideas to generate continued results.
  5. Actively participate in all phases of account maintenance and development and work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.
  6. Participate in industry events and conferences to represent AMP’s value proposition as it relates to publishers.
  7. Add value by building strategic partnerships within the following target areas:
    1. Content Publishers
    2. Mobile Carriers
    3. App Developers
    4. Search management platforms
    5. Browsers and ISPs
WHAT WE’D LIKE:
  1. Minimum of 10-15+ years’ experience building online publishers development deals or experience selling SaaS, BI tools, and/or Enterprise software solutions.
  2. Scaled and managed a high performing sales team through training, mock pitches, connectivity, one on ones, etc.
  3. Extensive knowledge of the publisher landscape as well as current relationships with premium (digital) publishers.
  4. Demonstrated ability to find, manage, and close high level enterprise business.
  5. Ability to work across departments - product, sales, marketing, and tech.
  6. Vast and evolving knowledge and deep understanding of all digital media aspects.
  7. Highly analytical with the ability to assess business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  8. Strong closing and negotiating skills.
  9. Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and passionate.
WOULD BE AWESOME:

Knowledge of pay-per-click advertising and search engine marketing.
