Job summary

BusPatrol seeks a senior VP of Public Policy and Government Relations to design and execute complex political strategies that defend and enable automated enforcement initiatives nationwide. The role requires steering policy, navigating legislative environments, and coordinating experts to advance school-safety legislation.

The VP will lead a distributed policy function, manage internal teams and external lobbyists, and partner with Growth, Legal, and Communications to ensure regulatory readiness

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of leadership experience in state/local government relations and advocacy.
• Proven track record lobbying multi-state legislation on controversial issues.
• Experience leading policy/GR at scale within an enterprise.
• Experience as #1 leader of a policy or GR function.
• Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead BusPatrol's public policy development and GR strategies across multiple states.
• Manage internal policy and GR teams, external lobbyists, and outside counsel.
• Coordinate with Growth, Legal, and Communications to ensure policy alignment and market readiness.
• Represent BusPatrol in legislative hearings, coalitions, and public forums.
