Job summary

Saba Health Care in Chicago, IL is seeking a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Assistant (PRSA) to lead and coordinate the department's operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. This is a full-time, in-person position with a comprehensive benefits package.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, the ability to develop individualized care plans, supervise staff, coordinate referrals, and engage residents and families in the care process.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience and direct work with persons with severe mental illness.
• Ability to develop and supervise the psychiatric rehabilitation program and staff.
• Experience attending IDPA training program or related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and coordinate the psychiatric rehabilitation department policies and procedures.
• Coordinate referrals of residents to appropriate services.
• Supervise PRSC staff and assess workforce competence.
• Recruitment, interviewing, and selection of psychiatric rehabilitation staff.
• Schedule department work hours and ensure residents’ needs are met.
• Ensure care plans are developed by an interdisciplinary team and followed.
