Job summary

Meow Wolf is seeking a Director of Project Controls to lead the Project Controls Team across planning, estimating, and scheduling for large, complex projects. You will align project strategies with creative vision, manage risks, and ensure financial feasibility throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with cross-functional leaders, and a proven track record in construction or themed entertainment.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of project management methodologies and diverse stakeholders.
• Overseeing estimating, scheduling or cost control, preferably 10+ years in construction or themed entertainment.
• Experience in domestic and international multi-faceted projects.
• Leadership experience building high-performing teams.
• Proficiency with core tools such as P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Controls Team across the full lifecycle, including estimating, budgeting and scheduling.
• Mentor and develop a scalable team of managers and professionals.
• Standardize project controls procedures and cost databases.
• Collaborate with Project Leadership, Finance, Show, and Operations to align strategies.
• Develop risk registers and incorporate schedule/cost analyses into baselines.
• Produce high-level reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Adopt best practices and emerging tools to improve delivery.
• Maintain historical cost data and benchmarking for strategic decisions.
