Job summary

Williams in Houston seeks a Director of Project Controls to lead enterprise governance, standards, and execution across the full project lifecycle. You will establish controls, partner with engineering, construction, operations, and finance to provide objective visibility into performance and support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business or finance with 10 years of project controls/PM experience.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams delivering large capital projects.
• Advanced knowledge of project controls disciplines and governance.

Responsibilities

• Sets enterprise project controls strategy and governance across planning, cost, schedule, risk, and reporting.
• Provides executive visibility into portfolio performance through forecasts and KPI reporting.
• Leads managers and professionals across units and locations.
• Builds relationships with senior leaders to align execution with strategy.
• Acts as escalation point for cost, schedule, risk and execution issues.
• Drives continuous improvement in data quality, analytics and automation.
• Advises executive leadership on capital planning and portfolio management.
