Job summary

Williams is seeking a Director of Project Controls in Houston to lead the enterprise project controls function across planning, cost, schedule, risk, and reporting. You will establish standards, governance, and processes and partner with engineering, construction, operations, finance, and supply chain to deliver reliable project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project controls or related capital-project discipline.
• Experience leading managers and geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Sets enterprise project controls strategy, governance, standards, and oversight across planning, cost, schedule, risk, change, reporting, and document controls.
• Provides executive visibility into portfolio performance via forecasting, schedules, KPI reporting, and variance analysis.
• Ensures effective project controls throughout the lifecycle with robust forecasting, cost control, and schedule management.
• Leads and develops managers across multiple units and locations to align resources with portfolio priorities.
