Job summary

Quanta-Services in Houston seeks a Director of Project Controls to drive scheduling, document control, risk management and governance across commercial construction and tech infra projects. You will lead a team of schedulers, document control specialists, and reporting analysts to ensure disciplined execution and transparent progress.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive project controls experience leading scheduling, document control and reporting on commercial construction/tech infra projects.
• Experience establishing and scaling project management structures, file governance, and standardized controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls, including staffing strategy and development across projects.
• Oversee master schedules (CPM) and ensure alignment with contractual requirements.
• Own change management, document control and audit readiness across project lifecycles.
• Identify and mitigate risks; maintain risk registers and lead risk workshops.
• Establish standardized project file structures and governance across portfolios.
• Oversee progress reporting and dashboards (Power BI) for executive reviews.
