Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. in Houston, TX, seeks a Supervisor of Project Controls in Power to lead a team driving cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and performance reporting for a growing portfolio of power generation and infrastructure projects.

You will mentor a high-performing team, implement standardized project controls processes, and ensure alignment with execution strategies, schedules, and budgets while collaborating with EPC contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction management, engineering or business-related field from accredited institution and minimum 3 (three) years of experience in project controls or project management.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as the utmost priority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, trains and develops a team of highly skilled project controls professionals
• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with key stakeholders and leaders
• Oversees the activities of team members to ensure performance and resolution of critical issues
• Implements consistent work processes, tools and procedures to increase project execution efficiency and effectiveness across the area in support of enterprise objectives
• Establishes and maintains effective project controls deliverables to ensure that projects stay on track and that accurate status reports and forecasts are maintained
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand business drivers and priorities to ensure the team's activities are in alignment
• Other duties as assigned
