Job summary

Subject in Los Angeles is seeking a Product Operations Manager to design and operate the product organization’s rhythms, instrumentation, and launch readiness. You will own planning cadences, cross-functional coordination, and metrics that enable PMs and designers to focus on decisions rather than logistics.

You will lead the internal launch process, ensure notes and rollout plans are written, and establish dashboards to track adoption.

Qualifications

  • 4 years in product operations, program management, or a product role at a B2B or B2B2C software company.
  • You've built or run a planning and release process that a product team actually followed.
  • You're fluent in product analytics. You can set up tracking, build a dashboard, and tell a PM what the numbers say.
  • You've owned a tooling stack (Linear, Notion or Confluence, an analytics tool like Pendo, Amplitude, or Mixpanel).
  • You write clearly. Release notes, launch checklists, and leadership updates people read.
  • You're organized enough to run six workstreams through a back-to-school launch window without dropping one.

Responsibilities

  • Process and rhythm: design, run, and adjust planning cadence, sprint rituals, roadmap reviews, retros.
  • Roadmap visibility across the company; ensure leadership, sales, and CS know what's coming.
  • Launch readiness: internal checklists, release notes, rollout plans, and post-launch reviews.
  • Data and tooling: instrument features, maintain dashboards, own product stack.
  • Voice of customer: aggregate feedback, recruit for interviews, and surface insights to pods.
