Job summary

Amplify is seeking a Product Manager to lead cross-functional teams and own a product area from concept through launch. You will work with engineers, writers, designers, learning scientists, and marketers to deliver transformative classroom experiences.

You will champion your customers, translate strategy into actionable plans, and set quarterly OKRs while monitoring performance metrics and driving student outcomes. A proactive, data-informed leader who partners across teams will thrive.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within EdTech, SaaS, consumer tech, or a similarly complex B2B2C environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required or combination of education and direct experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • A proven track record of shipping features from concept to launch and iterating based on post-launch feedback.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in an Agile environment, with a deep understanding of sprint cycles, user story mapping, and discovery techniques.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Empathy-first mindset: you have a deep respect for the challenges facing educators today and a drive to solve them.

Responsibilities

  • Own a product area with a 6-12 month roadmap balancing features, tech debt, and content debt.
  • Champion customers by using insights from discovery to improve quality and engagement.
  • Be the expert in your area, knowing market, use case, and capabilities.
  • Gain market intelligence by researching competitors and trends to inform ideation.
  • Translate strategy into actionable plans with quarterly release plans and estimates.
  • Deliver results by setting quarterly OKRs and monitoring feature metrics.
  • Cross-functional leadership with engineering and design to deliver valuable solutions.
  • Own end-to-end product delivery from ideation to launch and iteration.
  • Lead product execution and ensure blockers are resolved within SLAs.
  • Implement AI solutions by defining requirements and validating quality before release.
  • Communicate with precision as the primary contact for your product area.
