Job summary

Seated, Inc. is hiring a Director of Product to serve as our first dedicated Product leader, owning product strategy and execution across our consumer and restaurant businesses.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will shape Seated’s product direction, validate growth opportunities, and translate priorities into products that create meaningful value for restaurants and consumers. You’ll work hands-on with engineering to drive the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience with ownership from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Experience building and shipping products in a startup or high-growth tech company.
• Strong consumer product instincts, especially in marketplaces or consumer tech.
• Ability to work with founders/executive leadership to shape product direction.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution across consumer and restaurant products with CEO and Engineering.
• Identify, evaluate, and validate new product opportunities driving growth.
• Lead product discovery, customer research, experimentation, and business-case development.
• Explore opportunities across consumer marketplace expansion, restaurant software, AI, and adjacent products.
• Drive improvements to product infrastructure including merchant identification and transaction recognition.
• Partner with SVP of Engineering to define requirements, tradeoffs, and priorities.
• Serve as primary Product owner from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Identify and execute product-led growth across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.
• Establish lightweight product processes: roadmap planning, requirements, prioritization, metrics.
• Translate business objectives and data into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Develop understanding of consumer behavior, operator needs, unit economics, and marketplace dynamics.
• Shape future Product function as Seated grows, expanding capabilities.
