Michaels in Irving, Texas seeks a Manager - Product Development to lead our product innovation from ideation to launch. You will shape our portfolio to meet customer needs, stay ahead of trends, and ensure brand alignment.

You will manage cross-functional teams, oversee multiple projects, and mentor a high‑performing group of product developers while driving market insights and lifecycle excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in product development/management with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record bringing products to market from concept to launch.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and consumer insights.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing branding and packaging strategies.
• Excellent leadership and communication across organizational levels.
• Experience with talent management including hiring and coaching.

Responsibilities

• PB Assortment Strategies: develop and expand product lines and strengthen competitive positioning.
• Product Development – Trend Ideation: lead lifecycle from trend research to final specs.
• Branding & Packaging Direction: define branding/packaging strategies that fit brand identity.
• Project Management: oversee multiple development projects with cross-functional teams.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: align departments on vision, requirements, and execution.
• Talent Management: recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing product team.
