Thuma, a premium furniture brand headquartered in San Francisco, seeks a Director of Home Delivery to own the outbound logistics function, including the delivery network, carrier strategy, and White Glove experience. You will manage executive carrier relationships, set cost and service targets, and elevate the end-to-end customer delivery experience.

Competenze

• 10+ years in outbound logistics, transportation, or supply chain with home furnishings delivery experience.
• Direct experience building or managing a white glove or final-mile network across markets.
• 4+ years of people leadership including coaching managers.
• Proven track record in carrier negotiations, RFPs, and contract renewals to reduce costs while improving service.
• Experience owning annual transportation budgets with cost and quality accountability.
• Deep knowledge of parcel, LTL, middle-mile freight, and final-mile economics.

Mansioni

• Own strategy, performance, and cost of outbound logistics across Parcel, Freight, and White Glove delivery.
• Manage executive-level relationships with outbound carrier partners and lead Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Champion the customer delivery experience across touchpoints and set delivery SOPs to resolve root causes.
• Lead carrier negotiations, RFPs, and contract renewals for best cost, capacity, and quality.
• Own outbound cost targets and balance cost with delivery quality.
• Own KPIs like delivery quality, damage rates, transit time, cost per order, SLA, and customer satisfaction.
• Design and expand the delivery network by onboarding new carriers and capabilities.
• Drive middle-mile optimization through lane consolidation and routing improvements.
• Lead transit damage reduction with Packaging, Product, and carriers.
