Job summary

PROPWR seeks a Principal Engineer to act as the senior technical leader for its Power Generation Division. The role drives engineering vision, standards, and reliability across power systems, electrical infrastructure, and microgrid solutions.

This leadership position focuses on mentoring, process improvement, and strategic direction rather than hands‑on work, with collaboration across Project Execution, Commercial, HSE, Supply Chain, and Executive teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15+ years in power generation, electrical systems, microgrids, utilities, or industrial power.
• Minimum 5+ years in engineering leadership managing teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high‑performing engineering team across PROPWR's power projects.
• Establish engineering standards, governance, and best practices.
• Advise executive leadership on engineering strategy, investments, and system performance.
• Own technical direction of full power systems including generators, switchgear, controls, and balance‑of‑plant.
• Oversee SAT, commissioning, testing, and field deployment activities.
