Job summary

EverCommerce is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead Platform Development and Database Reliability Engineering, guiding teams to deliver secure, scalable software for Timely, SalonBiz, and a global customer base. You will shape the technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate across Product and Engineering to drive reliable, efficient systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading software engineering, platform engineering or infrastructure teams in a SaaS/tech environment.
Strong people leadership skills with coaching, mentoring and engineer development.
Solid technical background in software architecture, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure and database technologies.
Experience contributing to technical strategy, architecture and long-term roadmaps.
Understanding of modern engineering practices: DevOps, automation, observability, security and reliability.
Experience with Agile/Kanban delivery and Jira for priority management.

Responsibilities

Lead Platform Development and Database Reliability Engineering teams, supporting people to grow and deliver.
