Job summary

Center for Brain Health is seeking a strategic leader to head its development program, guiding multi-year fundraising and major gifts. The role advances donor relationships, aligns with priorities, and elevates the center's visibility through a high-performing development function.

The incumbent will advise senior leadership, cultivate ultra-high-net-worth relationships, and drive cross-institutional collaboration to sustain growth in philanthropic support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cultivation, solicitation, and closing of transformational gifts for the center's priorities
• Build and manage a strategic portfolio of high-capacity donors and complex gift strategies
• Engage ultra-high-net-worth individuals and institutional funders to secure philanthropic investment
• Design and lead integrated fundraising strategies across major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on philanthropic priorities and growth
• Drive collaboration across academic, research, and advancement stakeholders for a unified development approach
• Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, board members, and community leaders
• Represent the center as a senior ambassador to elevate visibility and partnerships
• Leverage networks to expand funding opportunities and mission impact
• Define a comprehensive philanthropic vision with measurable goals for long-term growth
• Provide enterprise-level leadership to elevate philanthropy within the center
• Use data, reporting, and CRM insights to optimize fundraising performance
• Ensure stewardship, financial accountability, and compliance for philanthropic revenue
• Lead and develop a high-performing development team with accountability and results
