Job summary

Copia is seeking a Head of People to scale our go-to-market and product/engineering teams while preserving our collaborative, low-ego culture. You’ll design repeatable hiring, retention, performance, and compensation systems that support rapid growth across our NYC HQ and remote workforce.

In this role you will partner with the founders and leadership to build an enterprise-grade people engine, implement AI-based productivity workflows, and drive meaningful equity and benefits programs that

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in people/HR leadership.
• 3+ years leading People teams and partnering with founders.
• Proven ability to scale talent acquisition and compensation programs.
• Experience implementing performance management systems.
• Familiarity with HRIS and ATS tools (Rippling, Lever).

Responsibilities

• Build repeatable talent acquisition strategies for GTM and tech hiring.
• Design retention, performance, and compensation systems aligned to outcomes.
• Drive culture, values, and People Ops across payroll, benefits, and HR systems.
• Collaborate with founders and executives to scale the organization.
