Job summary

SoFi in New York seeks a Senior People Business Partner to lead the people strategy for our Operations team, partnering with the Head of Global Operations and their leadership group. You’ll mentor a team of PBPs who support member service delivery, fraud prevention, and collections.

You will use data to guide decisions, drive programs in compensation, benefits and development, champion inclusion, and ensure compliant, fair workplace practices while partnering with the broader People Team to

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience directly managing and developing People Business Partner teams.
• Progressive HR experience in dynamic environments balancing big-picture thinking with execution.
• Experience supporting and coaching leaders at all levels, including VP+ levels.
• Proficiency in using data to uncover trends, guide decisions, and implement changes.
• Strong understanding of compensation, performance management, employee engagement and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Develop a High-Performing and Engaged Team: Manage and mentor People Business Partners, ensuring their growth, continuous development, and success.
• Be a Strategic Partner: Shape and implement people strategies with Operations leaders, including performance management and development programs.
• Implement Impactful People Solutions: Identify root causes, develop solutions, and implement strategies for organizational challenges.
• Coach and Influence: Use business and talent insights to coach leaders and drive decision-making.
• Leverage Data: Use insights to guide decisions and improve organizational health.
• Champion Culture and Inclusion: Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the Operations team.
• Ensure Compliance and Support: Align needs while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements.
• Collaborate across the People Team: Partner with COEs and PBPs to drive initiatives.
