Job summary

Kamino in New York City is hiring a Head of People to lead the team and establish management systems for the company\'s next growth phase. You will report to the CEO and partner with the leadership on hiring, organization design, performance, compensation and global People Operations.

This hands-on, function-building role requires leading critical searches, coaching managers and implementing scalable processes across the New York office and a global organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years across People, Talent or Human Resources, including building or scaling a People function in a high-growth environment.
• Experience advising senior leadership while remaining hands-on.
• End-to-end recruiting leadership across senior, technical and commercial roles.
• Experience strengthening managers and building performance, development and promotion systems.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and New York employment practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the People function.
• Own hiring outcomes and establish a clear hiring bar and effective assessment process.
• Strengthen management and performance systems, coach leaders and manage sensitive employee matters.
• Develop onboarding, development and retention practices that connect NY with the global organization.
• Build compensation and rewards structures to support hiring and retention.
• Run global People Operations, including payroll, benefits and employment terms across jurisdictions.
