Job summary

Axle is seeking its first People Operations hire to build the function end to end across recruiting, onboarding, and culture. You will bridge hiring ambitions with a great team experience, overseeing technical and GTM hiring and guiding compensation and onboarding.

You will design scalable processes, partner with leadership on org design and headcount planning, and drive a high-trust environment with strong judgment and discretion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years across Talent/Recruiting and People/HR.
• Experience at a venture-backed startup in hyper-growth.
• Hands-on operator who builds systems and processes.
• Deep recruiting instincts across technical and GTM teams.
• Fluency with modern people tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own all open requisitions across technical and GTM, plus corporate roles.
• Source, select, and manage external recruitment partners.
• Administer and optimize Ashby ATS and related workflows.
• Design a compelling candidate experience and manage offers end to end.
• Build Axle's employer brand and top-of-funnel talent pipeline.
