Job summary

Hadley Designs is seeking a People Operations Director to lead scalable people systems and growth initiatives. You will partner with leadership to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce in a remote-first environment.

You will design talent processes, organizational design, capacity planning, and data-driven workforce insights to support rapid expansion while preserving culture and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR leadership, ideally in fast-growing environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Proven ability to build scalable systems that attract, develop, and retain talent.
• Strong experience working with distributed and remote teams.
• Passion for people development and designing programs that foster growth and engagement.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement people systems for attracting, engaging, onboarding, and retaining talent.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure organizational structure and capacity planning meet business needs.
• Establish performance expectations, evaluation frameworks, and development pathways.
• Build a consistent and professional talent experience to drive engagement and retention.
• Provide data-driven workforce insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with external providers to enhance and support people operations as needed.
