Job summary

10a Labs seeks a Head of People to own the full employee lifecycle and scale the people function for rapid growth. You will partner with Legal, Finance, Recruiting, and Operations to build policies, processes, and programs that sustain high performance and compliance.

You will lead HR operations, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS, payroll coordination, and compensation benchmarking while coaching leaders on organizational design and change management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR or People Operations experience.
• Experience managing core HR functions: employee relations, performance, compliance, benefits, and operations.
• Hands-on with payroll coordination, benefits, leave, HRIS, and documentation.
• Experience scaling People Operations in a high-growth tech company.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment law and compliance.
• Experience partnering with Legal on employment matters and immigration processes.

Responsibilities

• Own People Operations and HR functions across the organization.
• Develop scalable HR policies and processes for growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Lead employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Design and manage performance reviews, manager enablement, and metrics.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, records, HRIS, payroll, and benefits.
