Job summary

Eggs Unlimited, located in Irvine, CA, is seeking a business-minded, hands-on Director of Human Resources to align people strategy with the company’s rapid growth. This leader will help scale leadership, bench strength, and organizational capabilities across expansion efforts and new markets.

The role requires partnering with executives, driving performance, and building scalable HR infrastructure while maintaining respect and professionalism in all people interactions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership or HR Business Partner experience advising executives and managers.
• Commercial experience in a high-growth, sales-driven, customer-focused, or operationally intensive business.
• Experience scaling organizations through major growth in headcount, revenue, complexity, geographic reach, or business lines.
• Expertise in complex employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, leadership coaching, and California employment law.
• Experience building high-performance cultures, succession planning, and developing HR teams.
• Practical, low-bureaucracy style with strong business judgment; willing to pursue growth aggressively with urgency.
• Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM-SCP or SPHR or equivalent senior-level certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Align people strategy, organizational priorities, and workforce investment with commercial goals and growth.
• Partner with executives and leaders to attract and retain top talent and scale organizational capability.
• Help build HR infrastructure ahead of expansion into new markets, lines, or acquisitions.
• Lead performance management, leadership development, retention, and timely action on performance concerns.
• Support succession planning for key leadership and business-critical roles and ensure business continuity.
• Manage M&A people aspects, due diligence, integration, and change management while preserving culture.
• Oversee employee relations, HR operations, payroll, benefits, and HR systems with a pragmatic, business-focused approach.
