Job summary

Versaterm is a CJIS-compliant, high-growth SaaS provider serving public safety. The Senior Manager, Payroll and People Operations will own payroll, benefits, leaves, compensation, and HR operations across the U.S., Canada, and Quebec, reporting to the CHRO and ensuring a reliable People function.

This is a hands-on leadership role blending operational execution with strategic design, including budgeting, data integrity, and AI-enabled analytics across payroll and rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years payroll, benefits, and HR operations across multi-entity, cross-border (US/Canada).
• 3–5 years of demonstrated people leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of US/Canada payroll, tax, and benefits regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate payroll processing for US/Canada; semi-monthly and biweekly cycles.
• Act as data steward to ADP and EOR relationship with Rippling for non-North America.
• Own benefits program design, leave management, and annual open enrollment.
• Manage HRIS governance, data integrity, and reporting.
• Drive AI-enabled payroll analysis, compensation modeling, and policy drafting.
