Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Manager, Payroll to lead end-to-end payroll operations for the US and Canada in a hybrid role. You will partner with the Global Payroll Director to ensure regulatory compliance and financial integrity across the regions.

You will own bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll, equity transactions, and year-end activities, while driving process improvements and controls across the function.

Qualifications

• Foundational AI/ML understanding with experience applying it in a payroll context.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience with US oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end US/Canada payroll processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly.
• Calculate and process equity transactions (RSUs, NSOs, ESPP) and off-cycle runs.
• Lead year-end activities and W-2/T4 reconciliation.
• Support audits and maintain payroll controls and SOPs.
• Partner cross-functionally to minimize compliance risk.
