Job summary

Serova is building personalized cancer vaccines and engaging patients directly. We’re seeking a hands-on PR and community leader to plan and run patient-facing events, from small meetups to hackathons, to grow our reputation and connect patients with care.

You’ll build a community of patients, families, advocates, scientists and developers, manage press relationships, turn stories into content, and track sign-ups.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in community, events, PR or communications
• You've run public events end to end with turnout and coverage

Responsibilities

• Plan and run patient-facing public events, from small meetups to hackathons
• Build a community of patients, families, advocates, scientists and builders around Serova
• Run PR: press relationships, stories and launches that raise our profile
• Turn events and patient stories (with consent) into content and coverage
• Build partnerships with patient advocacy groups, hospitals and tech communities
• Track what events and coverage do for patient sign-ups
