Job description

Head of Partnerships
About F2

F2 is the AI platform transforming how private markets investors analyze deals and make investment decisions.

Private markets firms work with enormous amounts of complex, unstructured information across diligence, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and investment workflows. F2 turns that information into actionable insights, helping investment teams work faster and make better decisions.

We work with leading financial institutions across private equity, private credit, investment banking, and asset management. F2 is backed by NFX, Y Combinator, Left Lane, Torch, and HighlandX.

We're growing quickly across New York, San Francisco, and London and are building the team to support our next stage of growth.

About the role

We're looking for a Head of Partnerships to build and lead F2's partnership strategy.

You'll identify and develop relationships that expand our distribution, strengthen our product, and increase F2's presence across the private markets ecosystem. This will include go-to-market partnerships with consulting firms, law firms, fund service providers, technology companies, and other trusted advisors, as well as technology and data partnerships across the platforms our customers use.

You'll own partnerships end-to-end, from identifying and prioritizing opportunities through structuring agreements, launching partnerships, and measuring their commercial impact.

This is a highly cross-functional role. You'll work closely with Revenue, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and company leadership to determine where partnerships can have the greatest impact and turn those opportunities into meaningful business results.

What you'll do
  • Develop and own F2's overall partnership strategy across distribution, technology, data, and other strategic relationships

  • Identify and prioritize partners that can expand F2's reach across private equity, private credit, investment banking, and asset management

  • Build relationships with consulting firms, law firms, fund service providers, technology companies, data providers, and other organizations that influence our customers

  • Structure and negotiate referral, reseller, co-sell, integration, data, and other commercial partnership agreements

  • Build business cases and operating plans for new partnerships, including economics, account ownership, go-to-market strategy, and success metrics

  • Develop joint go-to-market plans, enable partner teams, and create opportunities for shared pipeline and revenue

  • Identify technology and data integrations that can improve F2's product and deepen its role in customer workflows

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize and launch integrations based on customer demand and commercial opportunity

  • Work closely with Marketing on partner launches, events, research, customer stories, and other joint initiatives

  • Develop relationships with industry associations, business schools, practitioner communities, and other organizations that can strengthen F2's position in the market

  • Establish clear processes and reporting for partner qualification, activation, pipeline, adoption, and performance

  • Regularly evaluate the partnership portfolio and make recommendations on where F2 should invest, expand, or change direction

What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, business development, ecosystem development, or a related role

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, financial technology, data, enterprise software, or another relevant technology environment

  • A track record of developing partnerships that have produced measurable commercial results

  • Experience structuring and negotiating reseller, referral, co-sell, integration, data, or similar partnership agreements

  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to evaluate the strategic and financial value of a potential partnership

  • Enough technical fluency to work effectively with Product and Engineering on APIs, integrations, data requirements, security, and customer workflows

  • Experience developing go-to-market plans and enabling external sales or delivery teams

  • Strong cross-functional skills and the ability to coordinate initiatives across Revenue, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Security, Finance, and Customer Success

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior external and internal stakeholders

  • Strong organization, judgment, and follow-through

  • High ownership and comfort operating independently in a fast-moving environment

  • Excited to work in person with the team in New York

Nice to have
  • Experience working with private equity, private credit, investment banking, asset management, or other financial institutions

  • An existing network across private markets, financial technology, consulting, legal, data, or fund services

  • Experience developing partnerships with CRM, data room, research, market data, or other enterprise software platforms

  • Experience launching technology or data integrations that drove meaningful product adoption or revenue

  • Familiarity with AI products and enterprise AI workflows

  • Experience building relationships with industry associations, academic institutions, or practitioner communities

Why F2

You'll join F2 at a stage where partnerships can meaningfully influence both our growth and our product. You'll have the opportunity to define our partnership strategy, build relationships with important organizations across the private markets ecosystem, and work directly with company leadership to turn those relationships into measurable results.

We're building an ambitious company around a large opportunity at the intersection of AI and financial services. If you enjoy identifying strategic opportunities, building relationships, and turning them into successful commercial partnerships, we'd love to hear from you.

F2 is an equal-opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and make employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
