Role Overview

We're hiring a Fractional Partnerships & Referrals Manager to lead Arka’s efforts in building and activating high-value relationships with ecommerce brands, agencies, and service providers. You’ll be responsible for driving referrals, managing co-marketing initiatives, and identifying new partnership opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone hungry to create leverage through relationships, can work independently, and knows how to open doors in ecommerce ecosystems. You'll turn introductions into co-marketing, referrals into revenue, and outbound outreach into long-term value.

Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development
  • Proactively identify and close strategic partnerships with 3PLs, ecommerce tools, platforms, and agencies
  • Drive co-marketing initiatives including 3-way case studies, webinars, podcast appearances, and partner blog features
  • Maintain a living doc of recurring campaign formats and partner outreach sequences
  • Use tools like Instantly and Apollo for outbound email and LinkedIn campaigns
Referral Program Management
  • Build and manage a referral engine through agencies, platforms, and ecommerce service providers
  • Create lightweight systems for tracking, incentivizing, and following up on referrals
  • Coordinate with Arka’s internal marketing team to create shareable, partner-friendly assets
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Arka’s social media and content team to repurpose partner content
  • Piggyback on partner-led events and maximize Arka’s exposure in co-branded initiatives
  • Work with internal stakeholders to track partner influence on leads and pipeline
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in partnerships, referral marketing, or business development
  • Strong communicator who’s not afraid to follow up, build momentum, and close loops
  • Highly organized, able to self-manage and operate with a builder’s mentality
  • Familiarity with ecommerce tools and players, ideally with some existing network
  • Comfortable with ~20 hours/month on a flexible retainer
Bonus Points
  • Experience working with ecommerce brands, logistics partners, or platforms like Shopify
  • Prior experience on a fractional or remote basis
  • Familiarity with packaging, fulfillment, or the broader ecommerce supply chain
