Job summary

Alkegen is seeking a Director of Operations in Michigan to lead multiple manufacturing facilities within the business unit. The role focuses on driving EBITDA, cost control, capacity and throughput improvements, and talent development across Plant Managers and leaders.

Ideal candidates will have 10–15 years in manufacturing and operations management, with experience in lean, TPM and Six Sigma, and a proven track record of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 10–15 years of related experience in Manufacturing and Operations Management.
• Experience with Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma tools; track record of continuous improvement and cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Drive Profitable Growth: financial acumen, analyze items with ROI, EBITDA, and capital management; drive results.
• Create Alignment and Accountability: set vision for Plant Managers; integrate acquisitions; manage P&L and costs.
• Build Strategic Partnerships: lead with Alkegen core values; influence stakeholders; drive execution.
