Job summary

Anduril is seeking a Head of Operations for the Space Orbital Systems team in Costa Mesa, CA. You will oversee all business operations, drive strategy, and partner with leadership to scale the space-focused organization.

The role requires 10+ years in operations, top-tier leadership skills, and a U.S. Top Secret clearance. Expect onsite work five days a week, significant cross-functional collaboration, and responsibility for P/L with the finance team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in operations.
• Strong emotional intelligence and data-driven problem solving.
• High ownership with ability to manage multiple large projects in parallel.
• Solid technical aptitude and ability to work with engineering teams.
• Onsite work at Costa Mesa, CA five days a week; travel at least 25%.
• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day operations for Space Orbital Systems, including planning and organization design.
• Lead talent planning, real estate, security, and compliance initiatives.
• Provide proposal, legal support, and narrative sharing for the division.
• Define growth strategy with Space Leadership Team and growth partners.
• Own profitability and burn rate for the business line with finance.
• Engage senior leaders and manage external interfaces (conferences, partnerships).
• Negotiate and execute industry partnerships; support M&A diligence.
