Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks a Head of Operations for the Space Orbital Systems team to own all business operations and drive strategic initiatives. You will partner with leadership to scale the division, manage P/L and burn rate with finance, and ensure coordination with engineering. This onsite role requires 10+ years in operations, high ownership, and active TS clearance, with 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in operations.
• Strong emotional intelligence and data-driven, people-centric problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple large projects in parallel at a rapid pace.
• Solid technical aptitude and ability to work with engineering teams.
• Onsite at HQ in Costa Mesa, CA five days a week.
• Minimum 25% travel.
• Able to maintain active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day business operations for the Space Business line, including planning, talent and facilities, security, and legal support.
• Define and synthesize growth strategy for Space Orbital Systems in partnership with leadership.
• Lead operational support for growth, execution, and engineering.
• Spearhead strategic initiatives aligned with business priorities.
• Manage profitability and burn rate with finance; build leadership interfaces and partnerships.
• Support mergers and acquisitions activity and due diligence.
