Transportation Management Group (TMG) seeks a Director of Operations to drive efficiency and strategic execution across six multi-state locations. You will lead a team to optimize dispatch, fleet management, and customer service while aligning with executive objectives.

Strong leadership and data-driven decision making are essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in operations management in logistics, excellent communication, and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within transportation/logistics.
• Proven experience managing multi-location or regional operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across geographies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Frequent travel between locations up to 50-75%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations across six multi-state locations, ensuring alignment with mission and objectives.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and cost reduction.
• Supervise location leaders and support staff, providing guidance and development.
• Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor day-to-day operations: logistics, fleet management, dispatch, and scheduling.
• Drive data analytics to improve operational processes and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Provide regular reports to executives on operations and performance.
