Job summary

Amsive in Greenville, SC is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead our high-volume print/mail facility. You will own labor cost, throughput, and safety while delivering on-time mail-date commitments across all shifts.

The role requires 7+ years of senior manufacturing leadership, experience in multi-shift operations, and a track record of developing managers. Strong Excel skills and a focus on process improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading production in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of managing labor cost and throughput.
• Experience running multi-shift operations (24/7 preferred).
• Strong Excel and manufacturing systems knowledge.
• Ability to develop managers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Own labor cost per unit by staffing each department to established standards.
• Manage temporary labor partnerships and turnover affecting labor standards.
• Control overtime while meeting production needs and cost targets.
• Review staffing against scheduling-system recommendations and adjust.
• Standardize crewing across all shifts for consistency and performance.
• Ensure all jobs meet mail-date deadlines and production commitments.
• Oversee production schedule from release to completion and sequencing.
• Coordinate maintenance to maximize uptime and minimize disruption.
• Identify delivery risks early and take corrective action.
• Integrate warehouse with production to ensure material availability.
• Monitor spoilage and waste; drive corrective actions.
• Lead through management team; set and enforce standards.
• Drive safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Provide senior leadership with clear updates on performance.
