Job summary

Vessel Technologies in New York City is seeking a Head of Operations to own the end-to-end delivery of Vessel buildings, including manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and field execution. You will not inherit an existing operating model; you'll help invent it.

You will lead manufacturing, sourcing, and supplier performance while reinventing how we package and transport buildings at scale, with significant cross-site collaboration and travel to factories and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Vessel buildings across schedule, cost, quality, and execution.
• Lead manufacturing, production planning, productivity, quality, and materials flow.
• Own supply chain, sourcing, procurement, and supplier performance.
• Reinvent packaging, transport, and delivery as we scale.
• Lead field execution and manage construction managers, contractors, and partners.
• Build systems to reveal performance across factories and sites.
• Tackle operational challenges with innovative process, tooling, and logistics solutions.
• Help define future factory footprint and operating model.
• Create feedback loop between Operations, Product, and Engineering.
