Job summary

Navi in San Francisco seeks its first operations hire to make the office hum and the founders’ lives easier. You will own the space, vendors, supplies, food, visitors, gear, and the calendar and travel for the founders, ensuring a frictionless day for the team.

You’ll be the first in the office, anticipate issues, and fix them before they arise, keeping the operation smooth as Navi grows.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in an office management, operations, executive assistant, or hospitality role.
• Ridiculously organized with a system for everything.
• You anticipate problems and fix them before they arise.
• Comfortable managing a founder's calendar and travel.
• Warm and unflappable in person, first impression maker.

Responsibilities

• Run the San Francisco office day to day — space, supplies, snacks and meals, mail, equipment, and everything else that keeps a team of builders heads-down
• Own vendor and building relationships — landlord, cleaners, caterers, IT, furniture, etc.
• Host everyone who walks through the door — customers, pilots, investors, defense partners, candidates
• Support the founders directly — calendar management, travel booking, expense reports
• Own Navi merch end to end — inventory, reorders, quality, and getting gear to customers and events
• Get new hires set up before day one — desk, laptop, badge, swag
• Plan team offsites, dinners, and rituals that hold a fast-moving company together
• Build scalable systems as the team doubles and grows
